SDV-Series
Due to modern processing methods, the risk of complaints in postpress is constantly increasing. The following generally applies to film lamination, UV coating, calendering, and coating.
The printing ink must meet the following requirements:
- Solvent and alkali resistance according to DIN 16524
- Free from abrasive paste, wax, and silicone
- Fresh-from-duct and fresh-from-roller ink is not suitable, as slower drying can cause the ink to stick or release.
- For dispersion coating, solvent and alkali resistance according to DIN 16524 is sufficient.
A series that meets all these requirements is Epple's SDV series.
