About Custmo
The Early Years
CUSTMO OPENED ITS DOORS IN 2008, and even then, you could avail of our assistance. The goal, then as now, was to help the graphic industry with everything related to printing presses.
In 2012, we became the official service partner for Komori printing presses in Denmark. We could now fully assist customers in the industry in that area. To further strengthen our customer service, we hired two dedicated Komori experts in 2013. In the same year, we also expanded our ownership. Simultaneously, we changed our logo – so that from then on, it notably featured the outline of a printing press. Our expertise and passion were to be clearly highlighted.
In May 2019, Custmo also acquired the company Piculell. Today, as a customer, you benefit from our combined expertise – as we have united all experience, sales, and service under one roof at our premises in Vadum.
New at Custmo
In 2023 – 10 years after we expanded our ownership – we removed the printing press from our logo again, as our expertise now covers a much broader field; where, among other things, cutting tables and similar equipment also constitute a significant part of what we assist customers with. And even though we North Jutlanders prefer to avoid grand gestures and big words, the truth about Custmo is that today we can assist customers with almost everything related to production in the graphic industry – "across the entire horizon."
When you meet us today
If you need advice, sparring, or practical hands-on assistance with graphic equipment, simply contact us – regardless of whether your company is located in Denmark, elsewhere in Scandinavia, or in Europe.
You also benefit from Custmo when you require a thorough service check of your graphic equipment – for example, to avoid costly and inconvenient production downtime. It might also be that you need reliable and professionally competent assistance to move a lot of expensive, delicate, and heavy graphic equipment to new premises?
Or plan new installations and expansions for your existing machinery? Or receive proposals for a complete, well-designed layout for your graphic business – including ventilation, electricity, and water? Or do you seek sparring and advice on new investments? Or…?
When you meet us today, we can successfully help you achieve your goals in all these areas.
Regarding the collaboration with Kenneth and Claus from Custmo, Flemming Andersen states:
It doesn't get much better than this. It's not that we need service very often, but when we do, they are here. And there's no doubt they are half world champions in Komori, but conversely, they are not bound to sell Komori's consumables.
They choose what works best for us users. They also continuously follow up on whether anything can be improved. It's professional and quite reassuring.

We already have a 6-color Komori with coating and have been extremely pleased with both it and the service we have received from their Danish dealer, Custmo.
They contacted us in December, and we made a quick decision. By February 10th, it was up and running at our facility. Since then, we have produced over four million impressions without a single unscheduled stop.
What does the name “Custmo” mean?
The company's name reflects the two foundational pillars Custmo has been built upon since its establishment.
On the one hand, we always create individual, meticulously tailored solutions for our customers. These are bespoke – and the first part of the word therefore comes from 'customized.'
The second part comes from 'modules' – as, especially in the beginning, we offered custom-built workbenches constructed from modules.
Since then, graphic machinery – its servicing and associated consumables – has evolved to become Custmo's core business.
However, when you speak with us today, you will still encounter the same approach to each of your projects:
Everything is independently adapted precisely to the task you need solved.

That's why Custmo moved to Vadum
Admittedly: The spontaneous impulse is to locate Custmo's headquarters in Copenhagen. It is, after all, the nation's capital – and therefore, by default, where things happen, right? Actually, no...
Custmo was originally located in Copenhagen. However, our customers are primarily located elsewhere: throughout the rest of Europe, the Nordics, and Denmark. Therefore, we relocated to the heart of Scandinavia – Vadum.
Our central location automatically provides us with a more flexible setup, allowing a vehicle to be quickly packed and dispatched for urgent matters, regardless of the task's location in Denmark.
If, however, we need to transport heavy equipment to our Scandinavian customers, we either drive to the ferry in Hirtshals and sail to Norway, or we head to the ferry in Frederikshavn to sail to Sweden. Both ferry ports are only approximately 45 minutes from Vadum.
Should the task be outside the country's borders and require rapid servicing further south in Europe, we can also take a flight. Aalborg Airport, which is practically in our backyard, is only 1 kilometer away.
In short: Regardless of your current needs or location, we will always find a way to reach you, whether by car, plane, or ferry. For instance, Copenhagen is only a few hours away by car. We also quickly reach the rest of Scandinavia, always utilizing the most efficient mode of transport.
We look forward to writing Custmo's next chapter with you – and assisting you, no matter your location relative to Vadum. Therefore: V for Vadum. And the center of the world…
