Inspection

How inspections are conducted

Inspections of graphic machinery and similar equipment are a crucial part of maintenance routines that help ensure your machine park operates optimally, remains reliable, and consistently delivers the highest quality.

Regular inspections help prevent downtime, extend equipment lifespan, and minimize repair costs.

1
Scheduling inspections

Together, we plan the inspection intervals. These typically occur quarterly, semi-annually, or annually, but can also be performed as needed.

2
Machine inspection

During the inspection, we thoroughly examine the entire machine. We check for signs of wear, corrosion, or damage, among other things.

3
Lubrication and cleaning

We check the obvious areas that always require special cleaning or lubrication of moving parts.

4
Adjustment

Together, we adjust necessary parameters such as color balance, printing plates, and other settings to ensure correct operation.

5
Test Runs

A test run is performed after the inspection to verify that the machine is functioning correctly and delivering the expected results.

6
Assignment of Responsibilities

We assign responsibility for machine supervision to relevant employees to prevent future repairs.

7
Documentation Update

Finally, detailed documentation of inspection activities, changes, and repairs is provided.

8
Planning the Next Inspection

Based on the inspection, the next inspection is planned, unless an ongoing maintenance agreement has been established.
